Playing the top of the league was going to be a tough match. We turned up in high spirits and just wanting to do our best. As we started, Leeds were quickly put under pressure when we were in their half for the first 10 minutes. Our tight marking in the D and Izzy Da Costa ensuring that everyone got back meant that no goals were scored. We had several breaks, with a one on one with the goalie hitting the post!
Our press was once again very effective with the Leeds defence struggling to get the ball out. A special mention goes to Val Grainger who made some fantastic saves in goal. The final score was 0-0 which was a very good result.
